Mitsubishi Pajero Sport 2.4 DI-D 4×4

The Mitsubishi Pajero Sport allows engagement and conquering any Terrain with the all-purpose package and super select 4WD II System providing ultimate control, outstanding capabilities, and unrivalled performance through uncharted locations.

The Pajero has very unassuming styling almost to the point of being bland as such it blends in seamlessly with its 7-seater brethren. There are a few standouts such as the chrome grille, LED lighting front, rear, and stylish 18” wheels that give it 218 mm of ground clearance but overall, there is nothing very special on the outside. This is most likely why consumers tend to head towards the more well-known brands. Although it has the dimensions of a large seven-seater SUV, it behaves more like a sport sedan. The steering is on point, easy in tight parking lots but firming up when you hit the highway thus ensuring a direct feel. The power delivery is the most impressive, it’s linear with the gear ratios, this ensures the engine never sounds like it’s over-revving, even when you are towing 2.7 ton’s unbraked or 750kg braked, 2.4 litres in-line four, turbo diesel engine, pumping out 133kW and 430Nm. That power is sent through an 8-speed auto transmission and the Super Select II AWD system. As far as technology is concerned there is a 7” touchscreen infotainment featuring Apple Car Play and Android Auto controlled by a multi-function steering wheel that is height and reach adjustable as well as the standard Bluetooth and voice control for telephony.

Interior space is cavernous with legroom and space for five adults as well as their entire luggage with the third row down. Put the third row up and your luggage space decreases to 131l and it must be said that the third-row seating is only usable by children or persons of smaller stature. You get seven airbags, dual front, side, head, and knee, as well as a reverse camera. There is also park distance control and ISOfix where it counts. The Mitsubishi Outlander was launch in Japan back in 2001 and at the time of its launch, it was called the Mitsubishi Airtrek. Since its launch, the Outlander has had its fair share of success. Mitsubishi wanted the Outlander to serve as a compact SUV that will get adventurous drivers anywhere in comfort and safety.

Mitsubishi introduced their new SUV, The Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross into their family in the year 2017. Combining sophisticated aesthetics and sporty performance with SUV practicality, the Eclipse Cross is a stylish and dynamic choice for drivers on the move. The Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross was tested in 2017 for the ENCAP Safety Rating and it came out tops with a 5 Star ENCAP Safety rating. The rating applies to the all the models of the Eclipse Cross range. That gives the owners peace of mind in the event of a collision, knowing that they are protected and their occupants too.
