    Styling

    The new grille possesses chrome-Dynamic Shield spars that have been reprofiled and made slimmer than before, resting on top of the upper DRL elements. The new Eclipse Cross has neutral, black bars instead of the previous model’s chrome-finished grille element.

    The bumper features a revised lower air dam, skid plate, and twin oval headlights, with projector LEDs and self-levelling in the lower section.

    The new Eclipse Cross is 140 mm longer than the previous model. The rear hatch of the new Cross has single-piece glass instead of the split windows present in the predecessor. The redesigned taillamps and the new tails now have a 3-dimensional appearance.

    In keeping with the previous design, 18-inch alloy wheels have machined spokes and boast a black finish to complete the look.

    The increased size of the Eclipse cross translates into more cabin space. The 437-litre boot can expand to 1 074-litres with the folding of the rear seats.

    There are minor changes to the layout, with the centre fascia receiving the bulk of the attention. New switchgear in the centre console complements the redesigned infotainment system setup. The binnacle that used to house the infotainment system has been replaced with a floating screen setup, helping free up some space and making the cabin feel airier.

    CMH Mitsubishi Ballito congratulates Ashley Naidoo for winning Mitsubishi Technician of the year 2022 Mitsubishi South Africa held a competition for technicians all over the country.

    The competition consisted of 3 rounds.

    The first was a theory test with 70 technicians in contention. However, only 22 out of the 70 made it to the second round.

    The second round was another theory test, from which only five technicians passed.

    The final round (a technical test) took place in Johannesburg, with Ashley Naidoo representing CMH Mitsubishi Ballito.

    Ashley Naidoo claimed the first spot in the whole country after he won the last round, a highly commendable achievement for Naidoo. Prizes include a trophy, a toolbox, a shirt and a First Place Certificate.
