For everyday driving and conventional road conditions, one may choose 2H (2WD High Range), and when roads become slippery or hazardous, you may switch to 4H (Full Time 4WD) for extra traction and peace of mind.
Once you start to hit loose grounds such as unsealed roads, sand, and other low grip surfaces, you may turn the dial up to 4HLC (4WD High Range with Locked Centre Differential); when you hit rugged terrain, steep hills or mud and snow, it would be the perfect time to slow things down and shift to the 4LLC (4WD Low Range with Locked Centre Differential) option.
